Week 6

Move over Sake, Suntory and Beam are making whiskey THE drink of the land of the rising sun. This week's event focused on whiskeys bottled by the Beam Suntory brand or when East meets West.  From Fried Chicken to Sushi, Tokyo to Peducah, Kentucky Blue Grass to the peak of Mount Fuji, we celebrate it all.  Kanpai!

This week's event had a smaller pool of judges for the tasting thus each score had more weight on the overall result.  Some surprising results and a few match-ups left unanswered which may lead to some interesting pairings in future play-off brackets.  All tastings were again blind with a dedicated toastmaster for the evening.
