Week 1

The sip-off for season #2 begins with a return trip to Ireland (well at least in "spirit").  Season 2 began with 10 judges (4 of them experiencing their first event as a judge) assessing 6 brands all from Ireland.

A fun night of great Irish food and the celebrations of a pair of birthdays made this year's initial tasting one to remember.  Continuing the practice of blind tastings led to some surprising results especially as preseason favorite Redbreast Lustau (a sibling of season 1 champ) did not fair too well.
