Week 4

There is America and there is bourbon.  The two are as inspirable as the sea and her majestic waves.

Evolving from the rye whiskey trade of the whiskey rebels, farmers of western territories (Kentucky) in bourbon county began what would become a truly American hallmark, that of distilling a primarily corn-based mash  into a delicious and heart-warming drink known simply as bourbon whiskey.

In this event, we call on entrants that meet the criteria of bourbon which includes a 51% (or greater) inclusion of corn grains, an aging process in virgin charred oak wood barrels for at least 2 years, and without other additives, all made here in the United States of America.
