Scoring is done by rating 4 categories. The process will include summing the scores (per category) and multiplying by 4 to get a final rating between 0 and 25 per judge. The judge ratings will be averaged for an event round score. The results will be more difficult to anticipate in advance as each matchup may vary based upon on which judges are participating that particular evening. The subjective scores may or may not vary on the same whiskey for the same judge in subsequent rounds due to the comparison factor against the paired whiskey.
